Invite guests to your blog!

They could do a post for you.
They could add comments to your posts.
They could just read and think about your posts.

But they'll come away from the experience having connected with you and your readers more meaningfully.

When the last time you invited someone to your blog?

Your blog is your home.  A home can become lonely and feel empty if no one visits for a long time.  But if you don't invite people over, how do you expect them to come?

The most important way to invite folks to your blog is to write well and to publish compelling content (text, images, audio, video, links, etc.).

But a lot of bloggers tend to forget the old adage, "Ask and you shall receive."

So your homework right now is to go out and ask someone to visit your blog, to read it, to add a comment, or maybe to be a guest blogger for you.
