How long does it take you to find and insert images in your blog posts?
It probably should take you about 5 minutes or less to find an image. There are many great websites offering free stock images.
It takes another minute or two to download the image, upload it to your blog and insert it into a blog post.
In all, maybe 5-10 minutes. Worth the time? Yes, I think so. Here's why:
1. People are more likely to read your text if there are nice images accompanying it.
2. People are more likely to remember your posts if you add images.
3. People are more likely to return regularly to your blog if you use images.
4. People are more likely to find your blog via image searche engines searches if you put images in your blog posts.
Other than time and possibly copyright violation worries (just don't copy something without getting permission unless you're sure it's copyright-free), I can't see any reason not to use images in every post, or at least regularly.
