Yesterday Kimberlee offered some examples of recurring series ideas, today Dan Smith, staff writer and Know More Media Vice President, demonstrates another way for authors to use serial posting to educate their readers on specific industry terms.
Every industry has its own set of unique terminology, names, words, and lingo. Since your blog focuses on a specific industry, it would be valuable and helpful to create a whole series of posts where you define all the terms associated with your industry. I think the best approach would be to define 1-3 terms per post. You don’t want to include too many terms per post because then it becomes overwhelming to the reader. It may be ideal to define one term per post, if you can get detailed enough.
